Spring Arts Camp at Albion Library
March 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2016
Lisa, Claudia and Alana facilitated 5 days of free arts camp during the March break. Sessions were held in the meeting room at Albion Library, where campers collaborated to create and perform a story.
Each morning began with the participants’ contribution to the visual journal and ended with the pulse-sharing circle. In partners, participants crafted, painted and decorated masks inspired by the characters in their stories. They further developed their characters through creating paper bag puppets. Participants performed their collective story to a backdrop of their ECiD™ pictures.
