Spring Arts Camp at Brentwood Library
March 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2016
Tijana, Evan and Ksenia facilitated 5 days of free arts camp during the March break. Sessions were held in the community room at Brentwood Library, where participants engaged in visual and performance art-making.
Each day participants engaged their creative imaginations through activities in music, theatre, movement and visual arts. Inspired by their shared ideas, participants made additional pictures using watercolour paints. In small groups, they built figures and skyscrapers with newsprint and recycled materials. Each participant discussed her/his individual artwork with one another and together they presented their story.
